Tunnel Mode Doesnt Work?

Tunnel Mode Doesnt Work?
i have spent like 2 hours searching for tunnel mode on this site and i tried it on my 95 c220: i turned on car, lowered windows half, then turned on AC auto on, then held down recirculation button, but windows dont go up. is something wrong? hows it supposed to work????

The older ones didn't have this feature.

i had a 96 c220, the way i made my windows go up is.. you put your key in the outside door slot u put the key in.. when its locked, twist it to the right three times and hold it there.. it should close all the windows including sunroof. and to open your trunk from the same slot, i think you go two or three times to the left. i still dont know if thats what your tryin to do, but there you go.

That isn't tunnel mode. Tunnel mode is when you press the correct button(s) on the dash and then the sunroof and windows close and the car switches to recirculation mode. It is used while driving. When you are out of the nasty air in the tunnel, you press the button(s) again and the windows + sunroof return to their previous position and the air switches out of recirculation mode.
