2000 C230 Kompressor
'00 Kompressor- P0170-Fuel Trim Malfunction Bank 1???
I own a 2000 Mercedes Benz C230 Kompressor. The check engine light recently went on and when I had a friend put the OBDII on it, it came back as:
P0170 Fuel Trim Malfunction - Bank 1
He said that it is probably my Air Mass Sensor, but sometimes the problem could go away if I replace my spark plugs and clean out the Air Mass Sensor.
Has anyone experienced this problem and if so what do you suggest?
Thanks

Unless your plugs are really old, I don't changing them will help with the problem. Cleaning the MAF does often help. Use the search button for all forums and you will find plenty of information on this code.
bank, benz, c230, code, compressor, fuel, ii, kompressor, malfunction, malfuntion, mercedes, mercedesbenz, obd, p0170, trim
