whats this pipe?

I try to loosen the intake pipe manifold loose but this pipe get in the way? When I loosen pipe to make way, gas hissing out?

That looks like the A/C system to me, probably Freon leaking out.

Its small leak for 5 min, will it effect A/C? Do I need to top us & how?

small leak

you'll be fine.Remember to run your a/c at least once a month even during the winter,to keep the oil moving and all the seals in top shape.

Just happened to check your post and thought I would offer a little insight. That hose is part of the AC system and if you in fact allowed it to leak for 5 mins, it's probably pretty close to empty. You will need to have it checked by a certified mechanic and refilled. It can and most likely will affect your defrost system and certainly your climate control will be lost. Good luck with the car and be careful.

OK I'll ask a mechanic to top up. Curiosity how do they top up, where is the connectors? Is it expensive, I understand some new law prohibit the types of refrigerant we use in Aust?

Is it expensive to top up there?
