C280 hard start

I live in Minnesota and it is very cold. usually she starts and runs fine but lately in the morning or when it has been sitting in the cold for a while i start the car nothing unusual it idles fine and goes in all gears but i have to push the pedal all the way down for any acceleration response sometimes i have to start and turn off the car 6 time before the problem goes away and after it does its fine. when the engine is warm and i turn it of for 10 or 15 minutes or even longer if the engine is some what warm it srsts and runs fine. i have no idea if this is a special feature or something is wrong everything helps.
