Temperature Sensor

Can anyone help me locate the temperature sensor on a 1998 C280? The closest thing that I found was on the AC Receiver Drier. It does not appear to be in the same location as the 1995 Cs, which a thread was posted about(links are below).

Wow!! There are that many! Basically my problem is the auxiliary fans aren't working. So, from reading some of the other post a culprit in that issue would probably be the coolant temp sensor. In the post that I listed above the sensor is on the thermostat, but the part that I saw doesn't look similar. There are many sensors so the parts department might have just showed me the first one that came up because I wasn't specific. I was hoping not to have to pay the dealership for their great service, but it appears like it will end that way. Oh well thanks for the response
