omg i hope you read thru this forum about mods before you went on a spending spree
but if you havent, a few things you should be aware of:
those clear corners on ebay (20 bucks) are cheap non oem versions made in various asian countries. there have been alot of horror stories posted here about improper fitment, leaking water into the housing, and even popping off when going over a bump. the oem one made by BOSCH can be obtained from bekkers.com for 50-60 bucks and WELL worth the extra cash.
note: your corners wont exactly be pure white/clear once you get the clear corner, because the amber bulb that is within the housing is still, amber. if you want the pure white/clear look you will need to get some phillips silver vision or osram diadem turn signals.
lowering by cutting the springs prolly isnt the best route...but typical drops from blisten shocks/hr springs (or carlson, braubus) is about an 1in-1.5in

I know how you feel about the road construction. Where I go to school the roads are awful. The university could car less about fixing pot holes or anything else like that. Here at my home in Birmingham the roads leading up to my neighborhood are under construction. Sometimes I wish I had a Hummer H2 to get around in so I wouldn't have to worry about dodging stuff.
Just so you all know, I will be deleting all my posts here after a while.

I noticed both of your cars are silver. I don't really like the Benz silver. But I guess we can't all like and drive the same color cars, it would get kind of boring, huh? LOL. Unfortunately, I went with the cheapest tires I could find. Falken Azenis ST-115's. They are 225/40/18's all around. Any low-budget ways to lower the car, or are they all gonna cost about a grand with the labor? Thanks.

benz is so masculino in silver.
i always felt german cars should be in silver, benz/audi/porsche
while italian cars should be in red/yellow, ferrari/lamborghini
and british cars should be in hunter green or champagn, jaguar, etc
but yer right it would be boring if we all had cars like that![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
soemtimes something looks good when someone dares to be diff
there is no cheap way to lower the car, since cutting your springs is not the way to do it! you will have to get new ones and that will involve getting new shocks if you opt for the sport springs. the labor will cost around 150 for it all and you may or may not need camber adjustment. prolly one reason why i havent lowered mine yet even tho ive had it for 1.5 years

Definately the red/yellow, ferrari/lamborghini. I seem to like all of my cars in red. You can take the ugliest piece of junk and paint it red, and it looks good. I just think cars look best in red. To each his own, I guess.

are those 18's
how is the ride quality compared to the stock setup of 15's (if you drove around in it prior to adding the bigger wheels) man i was browsing by real quick and i thought you got lorinser LM5's for a sec, those are so dope. the ones you got look pretty similar and are quite bling bling with the tinted windows
, a big plus when you want to pimp and show off around in florida
how r the ladies suppose to see you in your nice ride with the limo tint tho

They are 225/40/18's. To be honest with you, I had so many things on my mind when I drove it back from Palm Beach to Venice, that I don't remember how it drove. But these don't feel too bad. On "page 18", when I showed you a picture of the rims I was gonna put on the car, you said you didn't know if you were diggin' the rims or not. I told ya' they would look good! LOL! It's funny, because I was going to stop in South Beach (Miami) after I picked the car up in West Palm Beach, but I wanted to hurry back and put the wheels on, so I didn't go. But I'll hit it in a couple of weeks.!
