Unfortunately I had already bought these when you had warned me not to buy any non-Bosch lamps a few days ago. These are the ones that I said only cost me $25. They look decent and they don't fit any worse than the stock ones. What a crappy design that is. I mean, they come out real easy, but that's the problem.....they come out real easy, even the stock lamps. They should have designed some kind of retainers or something. Oh well!

To be honest with you, I wasn't impressed with the way that the stock ones fit. They were tight against the headlamp, even kinda overlapping a little. The clear ones fit the same (which I expected anyway), but no different than the stock ones. For $25 I think there worth it. Here's the link if you want to buy them:

The only thing I think I'll do in the near future is put the stock-looking spoiler on there. After all, the car is a"Sport", it should look a little sporty! Thanks for the compliments.

Can anybody answer this for me please????????? I went to Circuit City today and started to purchase a stereo head unit for the Benzo, when the installer tells the salesman that you can't put an aftermarket stereo in a Mercedes unless you change all of the speakers because the speakers themselves are powered. Is this true?????????????? Has anybody else had to go through this???????? Is there a way around this??????????????

Yes and no. Crutchfield sells a converter so you can install aftermarket stereos. Do you just want a CD player? You can get the six disc Alpine and plug it straight in. It takes about 20 minutes to install. What is it with all the people wanting to get rid of their Bose system??? CRAZY!!!!!!

the bose system is good (i have a lifestyle 28 for my home theatre) but interms of that big distorted woofy bass sound that alot of ppl want in their car system, bose just doesnt do it (for a reason too!) personally that kinda sound drives me insane >_<
this one dude had such a tricked out audio system in his SUV and he'd always run around campus with all his windows down. you could hear him approaching from half a mile away... almost like a scene outta jurrasic park when those guys are looking down at the water puddle and its thumping from an approaching t-rex heh
while in my car i listen to mostly dance/techno and some alternative anyway, big bass is good for hiphop and such

well, if you can see.... in the oic, i havent finished with the front plate around the system, i even put the screen(on top) dvd player(second from top) dts,digital amp screen 3rd from top,
they all very easy to install, as long as you dont have the bose system....
because you have to reroute alll the speaker cable.

Just got the BRABUS 18" from my brother, for 2 days only coz' he wanted to try out my 16" to see if he wants to downgrade.

RobbyGT. that is defintly not true. but it would be a great idea to change those stock speakers. look into MBQuarts, german speakers and are the ****ing ****! btw. go with an alpine head unit, you wont regret it...
