c280 Trunk locked
Hey, I have posted on some of the other mercedes benz site trying to get this problem fixed. I have a 1998 c280 mercedes benz. all Of a sudden about 2 months ago, the windows, wipers, directionals ad the trunk all stopped working. I can get the drivers side window to go up and down with the key. The trunk is locked and will not open even with the manual key. I have been told to replace the k40 relay. i did that and no luck, no results whatsoever. Anyone have any ideas on what to do? please help me.

I know that since the battery is in the trunk you may not know but is the battery itself dead? I had the same problems after leaving the lights on overnight and had to call the mercedes dealership who easily helped over the phone. If you need more help with the steps, I'd gladly respond.

hi im new to the forums and i was also doing some internet research your problem almost sounds the exact same as mine my central locking system is down i have to lock and unlock my car using my key to put the windows down then lock then put them back up its a hassle. The person who owned it before me had mixed up the fuses and i rearranged them back following the diagram a few weeks ago i hope i didnt do it wrong because i cant get into my trunk at all not even with the key please anything will help.
