REmus Muffler
Ok,
I really need to know some facts about remus mufflers cause I'm about to buy one, and i want to be sure that it fits.
Anybody that owns a w202 and has a remus muffler please let me know if you had any problems instaling it, and if you gained/lost horsepower!!!
Im in a hurry to find out cause i already placed a bid.

I am running a Remus. It was an extremely easy install, you just cut and clamp.
It sounds great, but don't expect any major performance enhancement from a muffler alone. I'm sure it added a few hp, but nothing that would make you say wow I really feel that.
However, you will say wow that sounds way better.
It's not much louder, just deeper and throaty

1995 C200 Sport, Remus Muffler,illuminated door sills,clear corners
Remus Muffler
Just fitted one of these myself,Twin square outlet with an angled cut on the end,It looks the mutts nuts i think,Sounds nice too.Problems i had was that i had to cut the mud flap back a little to miss the box and had to buy a transition piece R1 that they dont tell you about. Its because on my model 1995 C200 the pipe that is left after cutting off the original back box is about 10mm smaller in diametre than that of the remus.

Yeah, I forgot about that little part, I've done so many mods to my car over the last 7 months that the little stuff can exit the brain quickly.
I too had to do some jerry-rigging to clear the mudflap when I installed the remus. However, this was also very easy.
Of course, if you don't have mudflaps it's a non-issue.
