Where can I find the Avant Garde or S600 grill assembly? Bekkers has just the grill for sale for about $107 and so does Evosport for about the same price. The grill housing on my car is dented so I wanted to replace the grill and the chrome housing as well.

Where can I find the entire assembly? How much should I expect to pay for it? Also, when I asked the salesmen at Bekkers and Evosport information on the manufacturers of the grills, they were unable to give me any info. Are some grills made by certain manufacturers better than others?

And lastly, after taking a quick peak under the hood, it seems that I may be able to install the grill assembly myself. Has anyone done this before and if so, what should I expect and do when attempting to install the grill?

Check with Bekkers for the complete assembly with the grill insert as they do also sell them together. I purchased the set for about $169 as I remember. If you choose this route there is hardly any install and you remove the entire assembly and replace.
As for buying the insert and doing the install yourself that is also easy. The insert is held by some clips and a couple screws. Some inserts may need to be trimmed to fit the C class as they were actually made for the E class. The Bekkers insert I bought needed no trimming/shaving.
