Water leaks into passenger side

I noticed that when I power wash the car, or it rains pretty hard, I find water leaks into the passenger side.

Where should I start looking?

So far, I've taken the filter (I think it's a Hepa-filter) out, and it was soaked. So, it's coming in through the vents I would assume. I'm and MB newbie, so any help or comments are appreciated.

Thanks,
-Rick

Look along the passenger side firewall. There is a small "flap" that opens to allow the water to drain. The easiest way to clear it-I am dead serious-take a leaf blower, turn it on high and blow down through the plastic grates next to the windshield. You will see the little flap open up and it will allow the water to drain.DO NOT....DO NOT OPERATE THE BLOWER MOTOR until you do this step or it will be toast.I would then allow ample time for it to dry prior to operating it.I've replaced 3 blower motors ($285.00 ish) on my C43 cause the ***** falling out of the trees has clogged the drain flapper. Now everytime before I wash my car I hit it with the leaf blower.

Excellent!

I'll try it tonight when I stop by my parents house. I know they have a strong leaf blower.

Thanks for the advice, I'll update when done.

OK, tried the leaf blower in the vents, but it didn't seem to help.

I tried running water (and blowing air before, during and after I put the hose into the vents). into the passenger side vent, but it didn't seem to do anything.. nor with the driver side vent. However, lastly, I put some water into the center vent (right below the wiper) and it seemed to start leaking in.. and leaking, and leaking, and leaking.. I have a couple of chamois in the car right now to soak up whatever's left because it's so wet.

What's my next step?

Thanks!

Нi,
lift the hood and on the far left side there's a small rubber L-shaped hose connecting the water drainer with the fender. Take it out and clean it! It's dead easy!

Regards.

Wow - both of you were right!

It was very easy. The blower didn't work the first time because it was so gummed up. I then stuck a stir stick from Starbucks into the hole to help clean it out. (It's difficult with big hands!).

Then, cleaned it out with air from a compressor, and also ran water through it. Flows like a charm.

Very, very helpful. Thank you - especially C43AMG for the phone support. It was a huge help.

I was just thinking about that this morning.

I got so excited after I got the other done I plum forgot about the wiper!

That's going to be done tonight or tomorrow.

Where are the clips at that hold it on? Just on the sides?
