yeah, it's illegal but I do know someone here in my country who does that.

Actually it's not about honesty, it's about capability. I do know this person who can do the job but not alot of people get the service.

one fact is that people who buy cars in our country doesn't really look on the mileage, they look on the condition itself.

I think maybe he means a mileage indicator for his oil change? Doesn't a service indicator light come on after so many miles indicating the need for an oil change? If you notice he is also asking about oil filters. He never said odometer.

How do you reset the service meter?

The Car Key must put into the second Position. (Not starting Position, but all Lights on) Then you must double push the little "0" Button. (You have only 2 Seconds to do it)
Then take the Key in Position 0.
Then Push the little "0" Button and hold him.
Then again take the Key on Position 2 with holded "0"-Button.
After ca. 10 seconds, it makes a Beep and the Service Meter is resetet.

Reseting Mileage Counters in Germany is Illegal. I think it`s so good. I don`t want to buy a Car with resetet one....
