For all your time money and effort.......just pick-up a C43.They're available for $10k and under. With everything you're going to have to change out(engine, tranny, ecu, rear, brakes, radiator etc) its just alot easier.

thanks for the advice c43amg but it is only the power of a c43 i want, not the looks as i plan to modify the exterior. As the car is a project i will be using upgraded aftermarket brakes suspension etc.... i have access to a workshop as im a apprentice mechanic. The only problem i have is money. I was just wondering if anyone knew of a specialist who could wire the ecu to the car.

go buy a c43 then change the looks or do all the upgrades you want. It's easier that way. you can even sell the OE of your c43 to raise money. Alot of people would love to get hold of this parts as an upgrade for their w202. I think the difference between the looks of C180and C43 is just the bumpers and skirts and maybe the carbon fiber pillar. and yeah, the muffler.
