Stereo Equipment Help!!!!!!
Hi I have a 99 c230k which had the stock speakers not the Bose system.....But i just recently installed the stock Bose system from 2000 c230k all the speakers fit but unfortunately i was unable to get the rear speakers out cuz on the 99 model they sit face down and on the 2000 model the speakers face upward so i was unable to install the rear speakers......But my question is....now i installed all the speakers they fit perfect but now i noticed if i turn my stereo really high i notice the speakers cutting in and out but if i leave it on low it works fine......But i didnt notice this problem when I had all my stock speakers in can someone help me out

u cant run a bose speaker on a non bose stock system, and vice versa
the bose speakers run on a different ohm over teh stock system. correct me if im wrong, i believe the bose speakers run on 2 ohms, while teh stock system runs on 4 ohms..if u keep on using it, the sound will not be good and willeventually ruin your amp and your whole system..
that is why they change everythning when people upgrade their systems from a bose system to an aftermarket one...

You can...
You can run the bose system off your stock head unit - no problem. Did you swap out the BOSE amp as well from the car - just wondering. All the speakers (of course) are a 2 ohm set up - however I would recomend going to aftermarket. Its a PAIN IN THE A$$!! 
I just did it yesterday! All diamond audio mids/highs with MMATS amps, and 2 15s! =) And a clarion pro-audio digital Eq. Any how if you need any other questions let me know.
The head unit produces the same signal no matter what to the amp, the amp is what alters the signal to the woofers. (in the rear deck area) do you have the 3 speaker set up? 1 loud speakers, and two huge funny looking ones? LOL
