do you mean the blower motor and sensor for your heat and fans?
under your glove box take off the panel and its like 4 screws to your fan and your cabin filter is in there too

Aight mista I wanna be a ganksta. What is it you want to check with the lines at the heater core? If they are leaking. There is no easier way to R&I the heater core then what I explained.

That's what you pretty much gotta do. You can also clamp off the heater and just run without a heater...

check the coolant lines that pass thru to the firewall area, there are some video's on how to find, clean, repair those 2 hoses, and the pass thru

Heater core hose bypass

Wow what an old thread, but maybe some one might learn something. Heater hose to the firewall broke (plastic connector). Leaked out all of the coolant and having to tow the car home. To repair and put back the hose looked difficult, if not expensive. Having to remove the dashboard and what not. It took me a while but I figured out where the other hose that led to the heater core was and was able to just bypass the heater core all together. Once I found it was basically a few minutes and done. Sure I have no heater, but I'm Miami I never would have to use it anyways.
