You can't order from Autohaus? Bummer. Would your local place let you try it and return if it did not help? It is so hard to diagnose the MAF/o2 sensor chain.

Maf
I don't thrust E bay seller when it comes to M B parts, thats why i order a Bosch MAF from Getcoolparts.com @ $149.00 shipped free in Calif. You can't be wrong on an original parts.
Reg. idling problem, why not connect scanner (OBD I not II based on your car model) to see what codes it throw?

Ok, so I sent back the one on ebay for a money refund. Bought a Bosch for about $300 and tested it. Idling still plays a little but not as bad as the one I got on ebay. I drove it for about 50 miles or so and work great except again for the idling. It plays from 700-800rpm so I'll probably get a computer plug to my car what it says.
I can order from autohaus but I don't have much time since I only have one car and can't afford to let the car bug down at the moment. I really need it since I'm handling 2 restaurant stores quite far from each other plus I'm getting a new house constructed.

rfoo, did the bosch take care of the idling movement completely?
As I drive mine with the new MAF sensor, the idling problem either went away, or I don't notice it.
But, I do notice that the cold affects it. As the days have gotten colder, it take a little more time to warm up (and not sputter), but as soon as it warms up in the slightest, the sputtering goes away. (temps are currently about 20F, which I think is about -6C)

Most MAF inserts require a Torx Plus bit. Torx Plus bits have 5 points not 6 as Torx. Also, bit must have security pin hole in center. As a work around you can use a pair of pliers on the shoulder of the fastener head.
