1995 S420 Black/Gray

Turn off Check Engine Light

If I buy a code scanner and turn the Check Engine Light off, will it come back on immediately if I don't fix the issue that caused it?

If it doesn't return after going 125 or so miles it probably will store the problem code. Chances are ..yes it will return but not right away

dude,

you need to address the problem right away. in my case, i had to use a starcom (the PC that connects to your car) and had the fault erased. there is a reason why the check engine light came on your dash.

just my two cent worth.
