Please help just lost my only key to my 99 C280. How do I get a new smart key with out pay over $200 at the dealer?

Do you have your spare key? If not, you're kinda SOL. And word of warning, don't buy any used smartkeys from anyone saying it can be reprogrammed to your car. Because it cant. It has to be a new, blank key, and for the most part you can only get those from stealerships.

there's no way in getting around it dude.

the smart key unlocks everything. without it you won't be able to unlock your doors, remotely let alone start it.

just charge it to experience as we say here in our part of this world.

try some of the online parts sites some MB dealers have. Sometime you can get them for as low as $180 a key.
