mercedes c220D 94 and ford escort 1.8D 90
parking brake problem on 1994 c220D
hello to all and merry x~mas.

i have just bought my first Mercedes it is a 1994 c220D witch i am very happy with, one of the small problems is the parking brake it will not stay in the locked position.
i think i know what the problem is the lite spring that is part of the blocking mechanism is broken.
i have an other spring, but I DOWN T KNOW EXACTLY WERE IT IS MEANT TO GO IF ANY ONE WOULD HAVE A PICTURE OF HOW THE BLOCKING MECHANISM WORKS IT WOULD BE MOST APPRECIATED. any other info and remarks also welcome...
