HID Error question
So I just installed a set of the MTEC H4 Hi/Low HID's on my C36. Look and work great btw. Only one issue...
When I turn on the lights after a few seconds the indicator on my dash says I've lost a bulb. However if I turn on the Hi beams (this moves the beam upwards) the warning light goes away.
Has anyone installed this Hi/Low kit before? I know from reading many of you have installed HID kits with no problems. I'm wondering if you've all only done the low beam conversion kits.
I'm guessing there is a resistor I need to put in line somewhere to trick the system its fine but I've google'd and searched here with no help..
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

dude,
i've read that too from the other thread and apparently there is no fix that problem. the solution according to them is to take out the indicator bulb inside the cluster so your annoyance can be remedied.
i asked that too from a technician and he concurred that the warning light will go off since the resistance from the HID varies from the OEM. he just adviced me to make sure that the installation is adequately fused to prevent any damage to the system.
i am not sure about the ressitor on how it can be installed and how will it work. i'll try to ask for his input on that.

can you PM me the link? or better yet can you post the link of the insert that you suggested. i am hesitant in installing HID on my ride because of the error it will give on my instruments.
thanks man!
hi i have c220 cdi the problem is the esp light is on and when you start car it pulls out sometimes its stuck the both back wheels keep jaming and the speedmeter wont go up at all when you press the esp button it starts drivinf for a short while then suddenely jams the back wheels any one had this problem can sume one help plz
I think my brother has a spare error cancel for the HID kit. Let me know if you want to try it.
I think i saw in the for sale thread selling resistors that take care of that light. I wouldn't worry too much about that light anyways. I still need to change the little damn plug on my washer reservoir and since i can't put water i have that light turned on too.
