1997 m/b elegance
In 3 years time the air flow meter has been changed twice. Now, 4 months later, it went into limp mode AGAIN. While driving, it felt like the auto transmission was kind of seeking for gears. It then suddenly changed very hard and went into limp mode. Another problem I have experienced, is that my m/b is running on a to high temperature while driving in the city. On the pull away its then racting very slow.

c280 high temperature
I have a 97 c280 running hot sometimes in a city. Usually it should run around 87 degrees Celcius. As long as it is not in red zone you should be fine. Hope it helps.
