My C-Classe does not have standard cigarette lighter outlet
I bought C180 (W202 face lift version) in Germany last summer. Probably This car was issued for non smokers, because it does not have front ash-tray and cigarette lighter. Instead of standard cigarette lighter outlet, it has thiner power outlet
.I want to charge my mobile phone in the car, using this power outlet, but standard chargers do not fit there.
Does anyone got idea why my car has this kind of power outlet and where can I get adapter for standard cigarette lighter chargers?
The best thing to do is probably install a new outlet all together, I'm not sure what type of adapters exist. You can get a new one at an auto store. or if you want to be creative, you can get a new outlet and then solder one of the smaller plugs to the other end and make your own adapter.

Thank you for such creative solution. If I do not find original plug for my existing outlet, I will follow your advice
