1994 E220 Coupe
M111.960 Smoothness
I have an E220 Coupe and after doing the engine mounts I find that maybe the engine could be smoother.
It is fairly smooth now, but I cannot say that it is silky smooth to the extent that I feel no vibrations.
There is some harshness, and it is mostly prominent above 3,000rpm.
Can people tell me how smooth/rough their engines are?
Whether there is something that may be worn and could cause this?
The car has 62,000 miles on it. My dad bought it brand new in 94 and it's been well taken care of.
EDIT: I forgot to mention, I posted this question here as no one in the E class forum has the 2.2L engine
