difference in 95 to 96 suspension

I was interested in getting a hr cup suspension kit....but referenced the part numbers and although the shock numbers are the same, there is a variation between the 95 and 96 spring listings......is this because of the design of the spring....has anyone put 96 springs on a 95? what are the results....? any help would be greatly appreciated.....thanks

tP seems to have forgotten that the springs are different, the early springs have a tapered end (a la W201) and the later springs have a sharp cut off end (a la W210).

I have a set of 96- eibach prokit on my 95 c280. I had Bilstien sport shocks put on the car also and damn ride quality sucks! Very bumpy. THe front of the car is super lowered, covering about 1/2 of tires. Going to have Tp raise the front this week to different pad.
