C 280 problems with directionals and intermitent windshield wiper

C 280 problems with directionals and intermitent windshield wiper
Having problems ! the directionals and the intermitent wipers work when they want to. The low and high speed wipers work fine. The directionals work and then stop, after a few clicks. I don't believe this is a fuse problem . I am lookink for the proper relay that controls these operations. The consumer list in the fuse box mentions fuses 4,6 and 15. These are all ok. Iam trying to find the relay that controls these ops. Or is it the switch in the steering column ?
I am not a mechanic other than rudimentary maintenance. Please help !!!!
