Can I swap my OBD I 4 speed tranny to a auto 5 speed OBDII ???????
The only trannies I can find on craigslist are OBD II 5 speed automatics
My 94 C220 has a 4 speed automatic. If the tranny will work what about the ECU and other electronic components?
Is this a plug and play operation if I swap the ecu or do I have to rewire the harness since it's OBD I --> OBD II?

the 5speed 722.6 is electronically controlled.
Your 722.423 trans is vac modulated.
The trans is also different bellhousing physically
and the ecu can't be swapped
you can get a used trans at mb yards or rebuilt for about $1200- $1600.
