2000 C230 misfires on cyl 2 and 4
Help...I have a misfire code that says that 2 and 4 cylinders are affected i ordered 1 coil to replace but I need to know if the coil closest to the front of the car controls 2 and 4 or if it is the one closest to firewall. or do I need to replace both coils any help would be appreciated

I had same problem
It turned out to be the boot from the coils were old and bad. I replaced the plugs, boots and wire to all four plugs anyway. But it started running fine as soon as I replaced the boots. Good Luck!
