Braking problem

I got my brake pads changed 2k miles ago.... braking distance seems fine, except, under hard braking or even just regular braking at highway speeds, a LOT of pulsating begins and you can feel it throughout the whole car, its *******g annoying. I remember reading about this before, and you guys were saying to get a new brake sensor changed? would that be the solution? how much would that be? if thats not it, what else could it be?? i would appreciate help, thanks

If you have a pulsation or vibration under braking, then you need to have the Brake Rotors replaced. They are out of round.

That's what I was about to say. You should have changed the $2 sensors when the pads were changed. Don't let anyone just turn your rotors. You have to get new ones.

does your brake pedal feel "shallow" when you brake hard also?

i think the braking distance is about right with the new pads... the pulsating really kicks in at higher speeds under medium-hard braking

either the pads didn't set properly...or something is gettin heated out of shape when u stop from medium/high speeds...rotors may be suspect...have someone do a rotor runout test
