Need help
My car started real ruff this morning got up the road and it shut off thought it was out of gas put some gas in it wassent that it turns over but wont run...
I turned it on floored it at 3 grand for a a few seconds it was ok it idiled... got up the road and shut off again...
what would be the first few things i check in the morning
recently had spark plugs installed and noticed even then it was weird...
what are the proper gaping for my c280?
ive had a cam postion light on for about a year now havent gotten to it..
the maf could have something to do with it... but well see what you guys think

update
brought battery in for a charge they said batterys bad
brought it home hooked it up car turnd over ran for like 5 seconds and shut off again
could be the alternator...
what else could cause these symtoms

Have your fuel pump and fuel filter checked and maybe these are the culprit. I experienced this in my 300E before where it would run and then stall out. I replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter in my car and never had anymore problems.
By the way, the fuel pump and fuel filter are located underneath the car. It is located slightly in front of the rear-right passenger wheel, covered in black plastic sheet. Take off the plastic cover and it will show you 2 cylindrical-shaped objects. One of them is the fuel pump and the other is the fuel filter.

its was driving fine then just shut off on me got it to the gas station put some gas in it and then it never stayed on ...
let it sit.. then it turned over got me half way up the street and then died again... charged the battery and still itll turn over stay running for less than a minuate...
