Hi All
I have a year 2000 C180 auto with manual aircon. The story go like this:
The car goes for long periods without use.
Every thing working fine after a layoff of 3 months, stopped for 10 mins and then the aircon stopped working, (all pressured up with no leaks). Next morning heater blower stops working as well. Left car for 7 months and when I came back to it the faults were still there but now also there is only hot air being circulated in the car and the engine cooling fan is on full time. I suspect the heater control unit...............any ideas?
Regards
Bryan

Problem
First check your pressures in the A/C. But what weird is the fan is on, normaly it will not come on but whatever. If I understand you right, you are trying to use the A/C? So if the pressures are alright. 95% of the time your (LOw side pressure switch) has failed. They are very common. They will show to you pressure but not to the computer!! But check that out.
