Problem with shifting into high gear
Hey i am having a problem shifting into high gear in my car, it does it ok in town but when i get on the freeway it revs up to like 3200 rpm going 60 and its really killing me on gas. In town it will go to 3500 rpm before it shifts each time and it shifts really hard when it does finally shift. Anybody else have this problem or might know what it's about??

Gotta keep your car maintained. Do a trans service, check hoses that need replacement as well as filters. I just did my trans service and drained alll the tranny fluid and replaced 8 quartz on my '99 C230 at 102,xxx miles and it shifts smoothly as i drove out 90 miles and 90 miles back a few hours ago.
