What Switches in w202 Console

From this thread: https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...&pagenumber=10

I can see that members like MBenzNL have a ton of switches in their consoles. Our 95' C280 has an extra hole for a switch in the console now. What can we put there? I know of the rear window sun shade, rear headrest recliner, and heated seats. The car has none of those, but depending on cost we'd like to have them.

What else is available (aside from putting another hazard light switch).

Thanks,
Tad

I know one of them is ASR. I don't have many switches either, but I don't want to pay all the money to have those options installed on the car.

heated seats, ASR/ESP, Rearsunshade up and down, that's basically all on the C-class.

Ok, another question. The new panel that I have has a hole on the passenger's side where the child lock is located on the driver's side. I can easily make a black panel to cover it, but what was it used for? Did some cars have seperate left and right child locks?

The panel is from a newer car. It is for the "Airbag off" indicator on cars that can use a BabySmart[tm] seat.

Well, damn. Oh well.

So, who is looking for a wood console for a late W202?

I presume that you bought this late W202 wood console for your early W202...besides the airbag indicator there is a hole on the leftside of the mirror adjustment switch...this hole is for the trunklid release and comes without clamps that are needed to hold in the regular switches...so besides that OEM panel with trunklid relase switch, there is nothing you could put in there anyways...
