You posted this link in reference to Henery47’s Lowenharts:

Who makes these?

Thanks,

Tim

there's a set out there called ADR Sterlings that look pretty similar to the Lowenhart BR5's. The only difference is that these do not have the rivets that the BR5's have. You can find these at a pretty good price (I've seen 20" on e bay sell for $1000. It's probably going to be a bit more from a performance store though) w/o tires. But I'm a bit suspicious on the quality of them.
These are the ADR Sterlings

Maya, which is also made by Lowenhart offers a look alike to the BR5's. They're called DTM's. I believe they're a bit cheaper than Lowenhart's also, but don't expect too much because they're still pretty pricey. I think they only come in chrome also. Someone on this forum actually has this on his w203 and in my opinion they look quite good.

Check this

I actually selected the Benedetto Dunamis at the least expensive Lowenhart BR5 Replica. I’ve never heard of them, so their quality is unknown to me. Nevertheless $750 for (4) 18x8’s in Silver ain’t bad at all.

Man those look sweet. Back to the subject with ADR's, I have seen them with rivets. They said RS limited instead of ADR. I don't know if this is just their top notch wheels or what. Anyways, it's too late now so who cares. Post some pix when you get those wheels on.

Doug . . . notice I took your advice on going with Silver and not Chrome.

Wow, I hate to think I influenced somebody to do something different than they wanted to do. I'm sure it will look great. You must post pictures!!!

Continental ContiExtremeContact

Continental Conti Extreme Contact rated the best on Tirerack for the amount I was willing to spend, but then I read a bad review on the board, so it's back to the drawling board.

What's the amount you're willing to spend. I didn't even want to spend more than 100 for each of my tires. That's right, I'm cheap.

Why chrome rims have to be ghetto? Personally I feel Mercedes invented chrome rims, or was the first to have them as option. Chrome and Mercedes equals the perfect match, but Im trying to go polished. If all else fails, chrome me up, its not like Im trying to win races..

When's the last time you saw a rapper bling blingin in his 24 inch silver painted rims? I love the way chrome looks, I just don't like the image that goes with it.

I see myself everyday riding on silver rims stock not 24s. I have seen some rappers with the black mags but I always tell my friends that these rappers dont really know about cars and I'm gonna show them how its done when we get in the game

Your wheels are Silver, are they not? I originally sided with Chrome, because I thought your's were, but the closer I looked they appeared to be Silver? Which is it.

Doug, I'm with you man. $100 a tire is a good price, but the choices are limited.

Well that's pretty good, buy mine were only $80 per tire.
