1995 c280 value?

Hi,

I'm about to sell my 1995 c280. It's got 130K and in very good condition. Many new parts, tires, brakes etc.

What's it worth? Kelly BB says $3400. Is that accurate?

It's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. If it's rust free, you have all the service records, it runs well and there's a clean title, the value will go up.
But for a 16 year old car, $3400 seems like it might be ok. You can try asking a bit more and see if you get any takers and if not, then you'll have to lower the price.
By the way, if you're considering buying a new car from a dealer, many dealers will offer you a decent trade-in offer. Like maybe they'll offer you $5000 off of your new car. But that's probably being wishful.
By the way, has the wiring harness ever been replaced? Your model has a harness that is known to disintegrate and cause all sorts of electrical problems. If it's been replaced, then all is good. If the buyer is aware of that, they'll probably stay away from the car all together.

I've done a lot of work to the car, but I don't believe wiring harness is one of them. It was bought about 7 yrs ago from a dealer as a CPO. Since then a few things have gone, but overall is in great shape.

Thanks.. I'll list it for that price and see where I get. As I'm in NYC now, I only use it once in a while. Hardly worth it anymore. Maybe I'll go for a zip car (gasp!!)
