Wiper Issue - Need Advice
The wiper won't turn on in any of the positions HOWEVER, it will go on if you put the wiper in between the numbers 1 and 2 position. It will stay on in the low position only.
I have already greased the area, so it's not hesitating and I've changes the motor when it was acting up.
Could this be a switch malfunction?

To get to this part, you need to removal the steerting wheel airbag, the steerting wheel , some pictures i found for you




There is no need to removal the instrument cluster, and remember to unplug the batery and wait for a minute before remove the airbage. However i never done anything this deep into the steering wheel before, so i can't give you more instructions, but hope the pictures help
. Also, you should go to your local dealer, and ask either the part or service department about your problem, they will tell you what can cause it, and how to fix them, also a scary repair price after that
, then you will have some idea about whether or not you need to chage the switch or fix other part. Also, go ask mercedes part department to print you a free diagram about your wipper switch, so that you will know how its installed onto the steering wheel column, easy for you to uninstall.hope these help you in some way
