1999 C230 Kompressor drive belt
I've searched the forum for instructions how to do the drive belt replacement, but couldn't find any. I wonder if someone has a link to it? Does it need special tool to do it? I see there is small shock on top and I wonder if that is the belt tensioner? If that is the case, do I need to loosen it with Mercedes bits? Or there is an easy way to do the belt replacement?

Nothing really special for changing the serpentine belts.
You will need the torx female socket set that you will need for countless other jobs, so if you don't have one get yourself to Craftsman (or equal) and get one.
It is easier if you remove the fan first by removing the three allen head screws that hold the fan to the fan clutch, but it is not absolutely necessary (especially if you have thin arms). I also removed the fan shroud, but again this is not absolutely necessary.
Now you have access to both fan belt tensioners (one for each belt). Use your 3/8 drive ratchet with the appropriate torx bit and push against the direction of the belt tensioner to loosen and remove the belt. Just as simple as that.
