1996 C220....ANOTHER A/C PROBLEM
This is my first Benz so be gentle......a/c no working...blows warm. I thought maybe low on freon.....I should have read the forums first.
Having searched I learned that I need to re-set the climate control fault codes to re-set the a/c? I dont want to buy a new compressor if I dont need it....Im going to try and read the values thru the climate control tonite....wondering what to look for as far as a bad evap sensor or compressor.....and how do I re-set the system?
Any help is apprediated.....also EC light is always on..

Thanks for the reply......I forgot to mention that I did put in 1 large can of freon...
Clutch doesnt spin....I have read conflicting posts about re-setting the system....? Does this need to be done....and if so..how do I do it..?
From what I have read the evap sensor is a common problem in these cars...what #'s am I looking for on the climate control read out pointing to a bad sensor..?
