P0410 caused by IAT reading?
Gents-
I have been chasing a P0410 Secondary Air Injection issue for 2-3 months.
The entire system works properly, has been disassembled and cleaned, several new compenents bought and installed to no avail; the CEL comes back after driving 30-70 miles due to thrown P0410. This ALWAYS happens when I am sitting at a stop light with a fully warmed up engine.
I pulled some scanner data today and notices that my Inlet Air Temperature was reading 138F. Seems high but with coolant temp at 190F and the hood closed, I gues that is not unsual since I understand the IAT sensor is integrated into the MAF.
Can a bad IAT sensor cause a P0410 to be thrown? this is really killing me.
