Rincewind, how far are you from Bethedsa,MD? I was there this past weekend. Pretty nice there. Made it down in 5hrs. Than again I was averaging 100mph down I-95 w/ radar on.

bethesda is a nice city, expensive to live there tho. its home to the naval medical center and other high tech bio stuff. 15 min drive from where i am

I went down there with my girlfriend and couple of friends. One of her friends used to live around there. We stayed at the Hayatt in Bethedsa,MD. I like it around there pretty nice. Sorta reminded me of parts of New York City. I wish I knew you lived around there. Anyways, maybe in the summer we have a meet. I believe there's a couple of us NYers here and some people from NJ on this forum that we could maybe get to come down to meet or you come up and meet us. It's not that bad of a drive compared to the drive I took with my cousin to MAINE which took 9hrs. When I was in Bethedsa I saw a brand new SL55 so that made my weekend complete...

was it black sl55? i saw one the other day when the weather was beautiful and i tried to follow it to talk to the guy. the exhaust note was freaking amazing. i ended up losing him when he turned away on a residential road

Yes it was a black sl55 the guy looked like he was in his 30's. My cousin was joking around screaming out "I'LL PAY YOU TO JUST DRIVE YOUR CAR AROUND THE BLOCK!" The guy just smiled and drove off.

as summer approaches and beautiful weather is more common in the dc/md/va metropolitn area im gonna have to driev around with my digi cam ready. there are some beautiful cars here around that time

wish i had a clip of the sl55 exhaust note when he was flooring it. most beautiful sound in the world :P
