Hi! I own a 1999 Mercedes c230 Kompressor and the BAS/ASR light went on for about a couple of weeks then out. Now it is on every time. Very recently the ABS light followed. What is weird to me is that every now and then, whenever I apply the brakes under normal conditions, the pedal starts vibrating excessively for about 2-3 seconds forcing me to apply more pressure to stop, then the vibration stops but the pedal feels heavier after that... What could it be?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Here in germany most of the diagnosis costs between 15 and 30€.
A few member here in our clubs got it priceless..
You can drive in and let the mechanic have a look for a few minutes.
Thats it.. you can wait during enjoy an coffee.

I usually bring mine to Downtown LA Mercedes Benz dealer and have my car checked with their star computer. Then they give me a print out of all the things that needed to be repaired. Also, the printout mentions whether the repair is needed ASAP or it can still wait for a while.
For me, I'd rather pay $150. for the dealer to diagnose what's wrong with my car and then I bring it to my personal mechanic to work on those issues. It's cheaper to do it this way rather than the trial and error method which proves to be costly in the end. After all, the dealer cannot force you to have your car serviced with the dealer, right?
