New M/B owner
Just picked up a 2000 C230K (sport), 1 owner, 60,000 miles with all recorded service being performed by American Service Center so she's had a pampered life and I'll try keep up the good work but she won't be taking it up the rear with dealership labor rates, got a good Indie shop near me to handle the tough stuff, I stood in line waiting to test drive her and I wasn't letting anybody take her home but me!!! This looks like the place to get the questions answered so I'll be popping in from time to time. Jay

Congratulations on your new purchase. I'm sure you'll enjoy your ride as much as I did mine. For now, make sure you change all your fluids such as motor oil, brake, ATF, power steering, radiator coolant, etc.
If, in the future, you feel that your transmission won't shift gears or you feel it's slipping, make sure you replace the transmission kit and flush the ATF as transmissions are very costly repairs.
