what is the name of this part?

on the 95 c220 what is the name of the part that is located under the gas pedal, and goes through the floor board, and connects via ground cable to the soleniod on one end and i believe the battery located in the trunk on the other end? and how do i remove it? my car keeps losing all power while driving and i have to keep wiggling it to get power back on???

A202 540 01 69 Socket-Terminal Strip, Battery Cable Most likely a loose connection. You can access both sides easily. In the cabin, you must pull the carpet. Under the car, you must remove a tin heatshield. Careful with the nuts on the heatshield as they tend to snap off. Work them on-off a bit. Pack them with waterproof grease upon assembly.

hey thanks alot for the information and your help. when i remove the bad part, do i pullit through the floorboard or push it through

Not sure, as I just tightened mine. I believe it comes up from the inside.

ill try that. yeah when i tried to unscrew that nut, the whole thing turns. thanks again
