w202 Mirror conversion w/o folding

Yeah I don't think I have seen this but I was hoping to get help on how to mod my w202 facelift 1999 C230 kompressor to have the w210 facelift mirrors with turn signal lamps and without the folding mirrors. Just want it with the blinker. Any help is appreciated..

I did this on my 94 C280 and the mirror physically bolts right up to the door and no modifications are needed. Make sure your W210 mirrors have a good rubber gasket that sits between the mirror and the door frame. It is not availalble separately and they do deteriorate. The rest all comes down to wiring. In my case the mirror adjustment is backwards on the driver mirror for up and down.....other than that it all works as it should. The turn signal wires which run to the rear tail lights is located on the driver's side door sill. You can also tap the wires from behind the hazzard switch as another option.

pretty much what mbsickness said, I couldn't do it on my own, I don't know electricals at all. if you have some idea then you should be good. if you don't get someone to help.

you probably won't find a wiring diagram, so you'll have to figure out which wire does what, because it's not a bolt in job, wires need to be connected to the new mirrors and the colors don't all match.

my mate helped me, took a bout a solid 6-8 hours total. this included figuring out what was what.

here is what mine looks like, I like em : D

Yeah thanks rocbtm and mbsickness. I wondering if it should plug with the same plugs that the w202 has in the mirror
