Is the throttle body supped to shot of completely or is there supposed to be a little gap? in other words is the batter fly supposed to be open a little bit or closed compliantly while the car is off. i think is supposed to be open a little because how does air go in there wile the car is idling. The reason I'm asking this is because i cleaned the throttle body and now my RPM go all the way to 1500 when I stop at a red light and go neutral gear or park, and drop down slowly. Also my check engine light is on and code p0507 (Idle Control System RPM Higher Than Expected) please help. can it be that now that there is no more gunk more air is going in? any help will be appreciated

Supposed to be a little open, slight crack.

Your ECU simply needs to relearn the quick TB.

u need to teach in the new end stop. u can try switching the ignition on and waiting a min before u start. otherwise adapt it with star
