hey guys, i want to buy a 1996 c280 and stance it . but!! the cluster is faulty , the speedo doesnt work often its hit or miss the feul gauge doesnt move but the light comes on when it gets low other warning lights on the dash come on and the rpm gauge when you turn the key on rattles really fast down by the pin ... like shutters really fast . the guy who has the car said its a sensor problem and it will cost 500 just for the sensor .... doesnt sound right to me ... any suggestions ... they do work from time to time but not often i searched for the problem didnt find many helpful post . any advice will be greatly appreciated.
