Reverse parking sensors installed

Reverse parking sensors installed
Bought one of these cheap kits recently and got it all hooked up.
They work really well and it installed much easier than I anticipated.
There is no need to remove the bumper and all the wires are hidden quite well.
I was going to take pictures as I went but wasn't really sure if anyone is interested.
I can make a quick guide if anyone really wants to do it.
The sensors are available in silver also I believe, I wasn't concerned as I planned on painting mine exactly to the colour of the car but I'm kind of liking the black
anyway.

The wheels I have just changed to the one's in this picture. The old ones were 16" and these are off a later model merc but not sure which one, these are 17"
225/45 profile.

The area you suggest is recessed behind the rest of bumper which "might" hinder the zone at which the sensors work ie. the signal might bounce onto the lip of the outer bumper. Also I think the lower height as mine probably helps to scope out objects close to the road. Mine will pick up a curb for example if I tried to reverse up to it, I don't know for sure if they could if I had them mounted higher.
The bumper was never removed for my installation.
