Which size tires to fit?? your opinion needed
My 1996 C280 has the 15" wheels 6.5 inches wide. It currently has 195 X 65 Conti Pro Contact tires.
I want to go with a wider tire with a lower profile on the same wheels. My choice is between 205 X 60 and 215 X 60. Reading the tech sheets on both tires indicates that either could be mounted up on the 6.5 inch wide wheels.
I would love some comments on which to choose.
I am not interested in changing wheels right now. Just want to keep the stock wheels and get on "fatter" tires.
i am somewhat reluctant to put on the 215's on the 6 1/2" wheels however.
