Opinions, criticisms... please
Just wanted to get your critique of what I have done to my ride. It is a 95 C220, not a lot of power there but for a daily driver ok. Got a non-OEM avantgarde grille, flat hood emblem, Bosch front blinkers, white side markers, carbon fibre B-pillars - faux but looks ok (hard as hell to attach). Front and rear rims (Italian) are 17x8- I am a bit concerned as it kind of sticks out a bit.
Any opinions will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,,
if that were my car i'd take the next step and lower it or possibly get a body kit to get rid of that black colored undercarriage. (or possibly paint it to match the color of the rest of the car).
or if money is an issue i'd opt to get some HID xenons or c36 exhaust
Lowering - I was thinking of that - how low should I go though- as it is a daily driver. Really afraid of the rubbing that might result with added load.
18x8 is the largest you can go interms of wheel size on a lowered car without rub and rolling fenders etc.
My car is also my commuting mule (about 50miles/day).... I personally ride on the stock rims.... for the time being... waiting untill the tires wear out and Long Island roads (pothole land) reduce the stock rims to mangeled metal
...then....do I hear AMG
Also, I agree with Rincewind about painting the undercarriage to match, my 95 c280 is same color as yours and my front bumper is color matched (compliments of the first owner), and looks so much better than stock (will extent the pattern to the rest of the car by the end of the summer-hopefully)
btw, can you post pics of engine bay and interior, wanna get a closer look at a RHD example....

Rincewind- all the varnishy yellow stuff on the engine- how is that taken off in the easiest way? I have tried degreasing/brushing but it is not that easy to get rid of. Only way seems to be buff with a wire wheel.
Any ideas?

Although, to enhance the look, you should get the windows tinted.
