v60 phone installation help needed

I have a 1999 c230 Kompressor and have recently bought the Mercedes Motorola v60 phone on EBay. I would like to know the easiest way to connect the phone through the stock radio. I do not need a voice activated system, but would like to utilize the speaker system of the radio to talk and to use the keypad on the radio to dial a number.

Can someone please advise me on what to do from here?

Thank you very much.

is your car prewired for the M/B phone? is the radio compatible? otherwise you would have to swap your radio for a fiber optic one and also install the wire harness...(check with your radio manual, and also check to see if there's a phone plug in the top center compartment.....) hope this helps....

The car radio has a "Phone" button in the lower left corner of the faceplate. In the center storage compartment, in the lower corner, there is a coax cable (male end).

Thanks..

Buy the cradle and the PSE, you'll also need an FME->MiniUHF adapter. The PSE goes in the trunk, and plugs into the two cables there behind the trunk lining on the left side (one is a DB25, the other is fibre optic).
Also there, you will need to hook the two coax cables together using the adapter (it might already be present, but it might not... if it's not there, they are difficult to find for purchase... let me know if you need one). The cradle goes into your center console (screw it down with some hardware store bolts and nuts) and plugs into two places in the center console (one is the coax, the other is the RJ45). In your trunk behind the right side liner, you will need to rewire the CD changer and phone fibre optic cables to include the phone system in the loop. The cables are labeled... but hooking them in takes some detective work. Once all this is done properly, you have complete control of the phone from the radio, and have a handsfree option.

Search in the technical and audio forums for part numbers for these parts, and try not to ask the same questions in multiple forums.
