Which Rims Should I Get?

I am planning on buying rims for my 1997 C230. The color is Black Opal. I really like the look of chrome rims, and am looking for 17 inch or 18 inch rims. Out of the following ones, which one do you recommend. Any other ideas for chrome rims?

Thanks for your help!

Option 1. Detata Essex

Or...

Option 2. Chrome Plated 17 Inch

Or...

Option 3. 18" Polished Mercedes Rims

Thanks a lot for your help and input!

Bro definetly roll with your third option and keep the rims oem. i dont know your taste but the first two sets will just not look right with the 202 body style. Plus they are kinda ghetto style. Those MB rims in 18 will look more classy all day long.-MOE

Thanks for your reply moedigga. I agree, the OEM style rims look clean and classy. Any other opinions?

Thanks a lot!

the first two look like truck/suv style rims. if you want something classly like the third option, but you want to stand out a little more, i would recommend going on ebay and looking at some of the amg/brabus/carlsson replica wheels on there. i have heard that the quality is very good for a knockoff, and they fit them with a mercedes centercap for a clean look. there is one company, wheel exchange i think, that has a lot of knockoff benz/bmw/audi wheels on there, including the brabus and carlsson knockoffs. they also do chrome plating it looks like. good luck!

Thanks for the advice. Actually, I was thinking about using either of the first two rims, for my SUV, and I guess I could use the OEM style Rims for my C230.

If you read the post over you will notice that they are referring to option 1 and 2. You are posting option 3 which looks great.

Wow! Thanks for the welcome back.

I didn't see the option 2 picture because it was so small. My bad. Yes, option 3 all the way.

I should probably point out that option 3 is not polished but chrome plated. They are extremely shiny.

Definitely #3... They look OEM, yet with a little custom flava. Doug your car is NICE!!! By far one of the best I've seen on the site... Can I ask you a question about your wheels. I seen similar selling on Ebay, but they only seem to have two offsets, ET23, and ET44... are yours one of these offsets?

LOL Guys!

Anyway, I purchased option 2. However, not for my benz, but for my other SUV. I will post pics of it, when the rims come! I will wait for another time to buy rims for me W202. However, I will buy something like option 3, the OEM style ones. Thanks for your help!

number 3 has to get my vote. they look a lot more classy. however if ur benz is black, number 1 would do nicely as well.

Doug,

Yes, I've seen Henry's, in person actually. And his is B_d A_ss!! His rims are sick... 19's!! Navigation, etc!!

But when I said I liked yours as well, I was referring to cars that I'd like to model mine after. There A LOT of awesome cars on the site... but I can't afford all the engine mods... and I can do without the stickers, etc.... But as for overall clean, lowered, 18's, etc... yours is up there on "my" list of cars I like...
